There are many Gyu Kaku restaurants all over the US.  From Hawaii to California to Chicago. The biggest difference is the All-you-can-eat.  This option is not available at many Gyu kaku restaurants in the US and if it is, it is very limited and expensive, also overall the dishes are a bit more expensive.  I think the reason for this is that Americans often tend to eat a lot more compared to Japanese.  The quality seems to be the same. But the same as with Mcdonalds, there are regional and national differences with the food.  For example the US offers Smores as a dessert (graham cracker with toasted marshmallow and chocolate) or spicy tuna poke.
