Ohio is a state located in what is called the “Midwest” in the US. Like Maryland, there are also 4 seasons. There are no mountains in Ohio and most of the state is considered to be plains or flatlands, so farming and agriculture are very prevalent. Historically, Ohio has been known to produce many presidents. 7 US presidents have been from Ohio. The state is also famous for flight. The Wright brothers; who invented the airplane, were from Dayton, Ohio. The national Air Force museum is also located there in Dayton, Ohio.
Sports are very popular. The Cincinnati Reds baseball team’s home is here. The Ohio state university, whose American football team is often regarded as number one in college sports is also located in Columbus. If you are interested in amusement parks, Cedar Point has the most roller coasters out of any amusement park in the US, with 71 attractions and 17 roller coasters. Chili is also one of the common foods here. It is often put on spaghetti or hot dogs. I went to university in Ohio, so if you want to know more, please ask me!
